Start on Worldbridges through Skype and webheads can listen and make comments on text area and follow the slides of the presentation on the web.

  • 1) Greet participants /introduce myself/room poll/agenda/ ice-breaker(slides 1 to 6)
  • 2) some data (slides 7 and 8 - maybe I will print them and ask participants to react
  • 3) changes in societal/organizational/educational paradigm (slides 9 to 15) not sure about that - I feel it is important to give them background (blame it on the French influence)
  • 4) Continued professional development(PD)formal and informal (slide 16/17)
  • 5) advantages online development (slide 18/19/)
  • 6) introduce tools and platforms for networking and collaboration online(slide 20, 21)

  • 8) Karen Garcia and Doris Molero explain how they gave the course on Learning Times to university teachers helped by webheads and how Doris interacts on Fridays with other webheads on Yahoo Messenger
  • 9) BJ explains briefly(on Alado) how Tappedin works/invites people to the Summer Festival.
  • 10)explain what a community of practice is and invite people to move to Learning Times to meet the Webheads(slides 25/26/27)

Close Alado/Tappedin and Skype and move to the Webheads room at Learning Times

  • 11)Webheads introduce themselves in LT (use the whiteboard to draw) and Vance Stevens explains the Webheads. Voluntary participants in the room also introduce themselves from Bee's computer.
  • 12) Bee Dieu gives a quick overview of wikis, blogs, rss, Flickr,Dekita and Orchard
  • 15) Aaron P. Campbell explains the concept of a PLE - Elgg/Moodle, FOAF and folksonomies
